The "yaw-control logic" statement someone quoted can be found in:

So, am I correct in inferring that it only comes into play when you hit the brakes, ie it won't activate brakes in a skid situation on its own ala the Corvette's DSC?
Also, given that the Hondanews info still says "3-channel ABS", does that mean that only the fronts can act L/R independent? Why doesn't this high-performance car have 4-channel ABS?

It only comes into play when you hit the brakes hard enough to engage ABS. It is an upgrade to the ABS system.

I am familiar with the term as it applies to airplanes and the closes car analogy is when the car is exhibiting oversteer or understeer. So my take on this is that Honda modified the ABS to eliminate the snap oversteer.

Link shows yaw for an airplane...

Let's see:

Bigger engine.
More torque.
15 Ft LB more torque at some points.
Bigger tires/rims.
Improved shifter.
Improved gearing for better acceleration.
Beefier drive line, clutch, etc.
Higher compression ratio.
Improved oil pump with increased capacities.
New Tach more reflective of real race cars.
Increased chassis rigidity.
More HP and Torque everywhere along the rpm range.
Superior performance and handling reported by every single road test.

Forgive me, but I am having a hell of a time finding the "compromise".

But, that's just me.

Hey, did you know there's a new horn and a leather shift boot, too.
