ECU starting to adjust to cooler weather?
It is getting cooler and stayer cooler in my area and it seems like the ECU has adjusted itself some. The car seems to run more consistently under all conditions. Of course, the most obvious effect is that extra "pizazz" with the cooler intake air, but up until a week or so ago, it seemed like I was still seeing the effect of the ECU retarding timing when the car got hot, ie, stop and go traffic.
Anyone else notice this?

With cooler air comes into the intake. Somewhere around 70 degrees or under the ECU probably stops adjusting for heat. Thus producing more consistant power. A CAI does just that gives you more consistant power. As E30M3 said it really dosen't make power but keeps you from loosing power. In return.........consistant power.
So im sure that your not toally crazy for thinking that.
