easy trick to tighten top

While this might work, there's also a "factory" way to tighten up the top... assuming your latches aren't completely destroyed.

I had some horrendous wind noise prior to doing this... all gone now! It's a bit of a PITA and requires some fiddling, but well worth it.

thanks hockey- if search had worked better, i could have given you credit up front!!!
did you have the "too tight" problem? maybe its just a matter of getting used to it? pretty hard to get my top unlatched now- but still worth it! especially since my top is almost always down (including yesterday in the rain!!!).
i might also try the heatshrink idea.
