Animals have that extra sense and can predict quakes. An Oscar (fish) will turn sideways about an hr before hand, and cats and dogs will all get weird.

I remember the SF quake. We almost lost out fish tank, 110 gal. That wouldnt have been bad considering the damage that was done elsewhere

 

They have not gotten worse in 2 years - a benefit of old age I guess! No macular degeneration, no glaucoma, no cataracts.

I had to get safety glasses because I often visit clients in the Lab - and I get time to fool with the mass spectrometers and gas chormatographs, to do "research" for y'all.
