Suzuka2k,

That weird. I ordered my S2k from Team and at first they wanted 1500 over msrp. But I talked to a guy named Jim and he hooked me up, he gave it to me for MSRP. They also just got a new Sales manager so that might of helped. A friend of mine just bought a Blk/red one from Team 2 weeks ago and he got his for MSRP as well. He is from Denver. Looks as though you and I will be sporting the same color.

This is the setup that I was shooting for. Nuespeed exhaust with an AEM CAI. But like I said I am worried because I do not want to lose any power by adding the extras. We are already at a disadvantage with our altitude and all.

So are you planning on any mods soon? If so, are you getting them from one of the new shops here in town?

Suzuka2k, hopefully my Suzuka blue can get that result or better one day.

(I will never VTEC under 600miles, VTEC less than 20 times under 10000miles....at least I will try to.... )

Congrats on the good rwhp. Being in favor of keeping it stock, it's good to hear. So many owners just can't wait to throw on after market stuff, thinking it will be better. That could be true with a lot of cars but I believe the S2000 is different. As an example, after-market vendor Comptech in Calif said the originals were so good they went through 14 header prototypes to get one that made better power across the range. I'm not saying there aren't some additional power pieces out there but I'd be real cautious what I did.

Suzuka

Just talked to Kwando. Yeah thats too bad that they did not hook you up. I know that an older lady (around 50's) just bought a Blue s2k from team about 2-2 1/2 weeks ago. I am now waiting on mine. Where did you get your clear bra done? How much if you don't mind me asking? I was planning on going to that place right across the street from Pikes Peak Acura. I know a guy at the Acura dealer and he told me that they were pretty good. did you do your whole front bumper? They do the whole front or just the hood. Big price difference of course.

thanks dlq04...

If I were to do anything it would be FI, but I wrestle with that thought as well, besides it costs more than I can afford.

Thanks.
Suzuka, check your pm. Do you know Frank (the young one with the civic) from the Acura dealership?
