Dyno...
I know thee are different kinds of dynos but what would be the most acurate? What HP numbers should I expect on MY04 with 800ish miles on it? Or should I wat till have have a few thousand more miles on her? Also does anyone know of any dynos in the north florida to orlando area? Thanks

First off:
A dyno is a good way to establish a baseline. It doesn't matter what kind you use, as long as when you make modifications, you go back to use the same dyno so that you get to see what increase/decrease in power has occured relative to your baseline.
Secondly:
I'd really suggest not dyno'ing your car with only 800 miles on it. Give it some more time to break in. Dyno runs are very hard on a motor.

Are they really hard on the car? What I should ask is what makes them hard on the car? I am asking becasue I VTEC my car almost every day... Is that bad? The guy at honda said don't be afraid to push it if you change the oil regularly.

dont trust what honda people say all the time. I mean the honda guy said the car is made to be abused and then floored it off the lot and wondered why it didnt vtec. He didnt know that you should warm up the engine first. Some honda people know what they are talking about, the others arent so bright.

It's not the vtecing that is hard on the engine. To dyno the car properly, you need to hit the revlimiter. Now, some people will say that is not bad, I don't agree. The revlimiter is there to prevent you from blowing your engine, and shouldn't be used as an indication to shift.

so when it flasses I am hitting the revlimter or when the engine does weird stuff I am hitting the revlimiter? I have shifted a few (2 or 3) times right as it flashes. Is that bad?
