Dynamatting invidia exhaust?
saw a page on how you can put a sheet of dyna mat between the resonator and body of the car...whos done this? Has this cut down on droning? Isnt this a fire hazrd since the dynamat touches the hot pipe?

Here the drone soundproofing thread

Altho the real drone fix for the invidia is welding on the stock resonator in place of the one invidia uses.
The resonator/exhaust tubing never actually touches the dynomat/quietcoat so the fire hazard is pretty low. The soundproofing also has a high flashpoint so it's virtually unburnable. I get under my car alot and I haven't noticed any unusual charring of at any of the close areas to the exhaust pipe.

Dynamat might help a bit but the drone is generally a lower frequency which is much harder to 'block' than higher frequency road noises such as tire noise when driving on concrete highways.
