Default dumb person slammed my hood and cracked carbon intake...help!

Yeah as the title says i was at work and i have just gotten and installed a pw:jdm carbon kevlar intake well a customer complimented my car and asked to see under the hood. Obviously i had no problem and showed off my intake for the first time. I have no hood prop so he offered to hold the hood for a second....anyway him being ignorant to the tight clearance he let my hood slam annnnnd crack... now theres a huge gaping hole through my otherwise brand new intake. Guy didnt offer to pay or fix it or anything he just left in shame while i was freaking out about it. Well with the background out of the way i want to know if there is any possible way of resealing the cracks with as minimal an eye sore as possible. This may not be the correct area to post this but i wasnt sure where else to put it i apologize if this is the wrong section and as always thanks for any input.

Dam tat sucks! I would make him pay for it. Anyway, i would just piece together the pieces and put it back in as good as possible then put a decal large enough to cover it.

You can try fiberglassing it from behind. It still won't look as pretty though :/

Damn is tge clearance really tgat tight on that intake. It looks nice but ughhh tgat sux. Iv heard it creates a vaccum effect and gets willy nilly with the vibrations. Dont know if it would compromise the effect being cracked and fixed though

Don't see how this is his fault in any way...

Knowing that there were tight clearances, you should have held and closed the hood yourself.

I have no advice, but I am curious: Why did you remove your hood prop?

He offered to hold the hood, he dropped the hood = his fault. End of story.

If someone cracks the intake by slamming the hood then #1 how is he going to know it wasn't going to clear? #2 IMHO, a intake that cracks when you slam the hood either isn't installed properly or is just crap. #3 If it was really that close and you knew then you probably should have lifted and closed the hood yourself.
