Drove in the rain.

Drove in the rain.
So I got off work, and it was POURING like a mother#ucker! The road is full of oil and is slippery like anything. I took it slow and drove UNDER the speed limit. I was afraid I might loose control and hurt my baby.
When I got off the highway, out of other car's way, I picked up a little speed. Every turn I took, even at pretty low speed, I was slipping (drifting?) and it was so frigging awesome!! I took the car to an empty parking lot and was going nuts!!!
Gosh, it was fun when there's no cars and median around me. When I was on the highway, I was scared shitless.
PS. Time for rain/snow tires. =[

i found my Ap1 abolutely normal to drive in rain. With decent tires no problem whatsoever. Most of the paranoya is inflicted by internet muppets who cannt drive a shopping cart across wallmart parking lot. My .02

I disagree with them, too.

This stupid phobia of driving the S in the rain with street rubber is ridiculous. All you have to do is not lean on the rubber for grip, drive slow and rely on gravity for grip.
There are POS 1950's cars with bold tires driving in tropical rains in third world countries everywhere, every day.
