Hey S2What,

Just purchased a low cost borescope at Fry's last week. Was on sale for about $30. Comes with snap-on magnet. Might do the trick and i'm sure it can come in handy for a bunch other projects.

That's pretty nice for $30. I went with the HF special for $179 because the head is small enough to go inside of sparkplug holes.

Reading this thread conjured up some very familiar feelings of dropping things in tight places. I hate it when stuff just goes "bloop" into the abyss.

Sooooo....did the magnet work??!?!?!!? I dropped my socket down there as well while installing my hardtop!!!!

I have a flexible grapper that I bought somewhere that snakes into tight places and has little fingers at the end to grab stuff using a button at the other end.
