why are you concerned? i've heard many speak of the sluggish feel when the a/c is on. and i should say it was not 'unusually' sluggish ... i had changed to mobil-1 a few days prior, and was as anal as usual in checking my oil (no loss in last 5000 miles or so). don't believe there's a problem.

thanks for the concern,
b

That's all I meant. Yes, the A/C does change the feel a little bit.

Glad it's not "unusually" sluggish. That is what I was concerned about.

CAI makes a huge difference in Arizona, no more heat bog and a lot more response from the car.

It is 100+ degrees here everyday and no problems for any members I am aware of at this time.

This type of weather is the reason that I bought my S2000. I love to put the top down and enjoy the wonderful summer weather. It bothers me when I have to put the top UP in this kind of weather (rain). My A/C only gets exercised to keep the seals intact.

Even when tracking (VTEC for 30min) in 90F+, the car doesn't come close to overheating.

I live in Vegas and it's been 110+ for about three weeks (give or take a few days.) I keep my hardtop until the temp drops below 100. Even at night time temps are in 100+ range

In Palm Springs it averages around 110 and I haven't experienced any problems. I do recommend a car cover if parked in intense direct sun as well as 303 for protecting the vinyl top.

What is this 303 stuff? Where can I check it out online? And what part of the car need it?
