Drivers window not going down

Drivers window not going down
When lowering the top the drivers window sometimes will not lower or will only lower part of the way. Also the one touch down feature on the drivers window is not working. Any remedies out there? Thanks

I just started having the same problem. (at around 9000miles)I'm going to have the dealer fix it when i take it in for my next oil change.
I wonder what percentage of owners have had this problem?

Seems to be a fairly common problem. As Chiman implies, it is the motor/regulator, not the switch that is the problem. My dealer had to learn this the hard way. (And I had to bring it back 2 extra times to finally get it fixed.)

i have the same problem! what the hell! i only got 4000 miles on mine!
anyways... do you guys think it's caused by water?
when it rains, and if i open the window, i noticed that water falls directly on the window switches...

Naw, it can't be that. I just developed the same problem a few weeks ago (around 7,000 ml) and we have just experienced a 5 month drought down here in s. Florida. The problem is identical; windows won't go down when lowering the top and the auto lower function won't work either.
I'm also getting mine fixed at the next oil change.
Plus, I'm having the interior trunk release disconnected too. Anyone have that done yet?

Have you recently installed speakers? Pop the door panel on the drivers side and make sure the connector is firmly planted to the switch panel. I've seen this personally once before....exact symptoms you describe. Check the 14 Pin connector at the front of the panel. The back one is for the mirrors.
