I wish some of those who wish they had to downshift less had posted some comments, but at least now I know I'm not an oddball because I think working a peaky powerband is part of what makes this car so much fun.

Been rowing the gears for 40 years. BMW 1600, Lotus Europa, a couple GTIs and now the S. Love it.

i love to play with the sound from the rear that downshifting gives, especially with that spugen back there!!

It's not something that i like but the 2.0 liter needs downshift to move the car.

I don't really think too much into it, i could enjoy a peaky powerband as well as flat torque v8's

The engine and drivetrain are the heart of the S2000. If you don't like it, you bought the wrong car.
