doughnut question

not to thread jack.... but if you take a very sharp turn while going slow.... than punch it with the wheel almost locked...; does that hurt the diff lol?
i did that the other way and the diff kinda "hopped" and then i felt the limited slip kick in... didnt feel very natural.

Yeah, if you're going to put that kind of stress on your car, you might as well autocross and get some skills rather than impress your friends with asshattery that doesn't really help anything at all.
So I guess the answer to your question: few donuts, probably fine. Lots of donuts, why?

Is doing donuts in the S bad for the differential or anything else other than, obviously, the tires?

i don't intentionally brake the tires loose on the car when it is dry for two reasons. one it feels like it is hard on the car, and the tires that i run are expensive...
now when it is damp, i have been known to play a little, but only where its safe to do so. when is wet i don't think it really has any negitive affects. there is less stress on everything, and with less friction, it doesn't eat my tires.
