I think at the end of the day, if you can learn to double clutch, it doesn't hurt the car. Once you learn it, it requires thought to not do it. So, if you know how to do it, continue to do it. If you don't know, learn how if you wish but it seems as though other board members have gotten along without it. Does it improve track performance via better traction control? No one can provide a straight answer. However, no one can prove that it doesn't. So, why not learn? It's not that difficult and becomes second nature after a while.

This is exactly why I would just want the SMG types of transmissions. I am pretty sure I can prepare and take corners faster with one.
As of now, I prepare way ahead of corners since I haven't heel/toed yet, just rev matching instead with braking in between. My tail lights up like a xmas tree.
