While at the dealership yesterday they had a pre owned Chicane '08 I almost traded in on. Had they come down just another grand I'd have taken it but instead I left frustrated at the idiocy of the finance department and the games they tried to run. The worst of it all was the finance guy has known my roomate for years (they were stationed together and later on my roomate got the guys girlfriend stationed with him - big favor/deal)...
so hes acting like he was hooking me up and throwing BS figures around then looked like a deer in headlights everytime I'd call him out on the prices... I just don't get car salesmen. They are making money on my trade. They are making money on the car. They are making money on the fees. The are making money on every aspect of the deal - is it really that hard to cut a little off here and there to move it? Their loss.

my guess would have been that somehow the window fell off the hinge.
and i totally feel you on the car salesmen. when they start their speil i usually need to walk away while they talk to my wife. she's much more tolerant of them.

13K. Thats with swapping my Works and exhaust over and the OEM stuff to the 05.
13k sounds like low ball (depending on miles)

There is an IDENTICAL at another dealer 20 miles away with 200 less miles for $1 more.

This happened to me on my 02 RSX Type-S back in the day.
Dealer tried blaming it on my window tint, saying they took the glass out they must have messed it up. I shut him up real fast on that one. Then he tried saying that the added stress from the window film tint caused undue strain on the regulator which caused it to fail. After laughing in his face I said ok, get me a spray bottle with water, i'll spray the inside of the other window and lets see how well it cleans it. By your estimation, it should literally squeegee the water right off ok?
He shut his trap and wrote up my warranty repair after that.
