Dang. I would park in a managed car lot near the airport that is gated with 24 hour attendants.

I have not left a car overnight in an airport since I came back from a 3 day trip and found every emblem removed from my Acura Integra about 8 years ago.

About 3 years ago, I saw a ride on wood blocks the wheels were actually pulled.

Many airports will let you come in and out of the parking area without paying a fee if you are out in under 30mins. This is lame because the thieves can check out the lot nightly looking for parts.

Managed lots don't allow this.

there is one particular airport i use frequently and it does not have a managed lot. no otherwise security either. haven't seen a CC video or anything else that would ease one's mind.
seemed ok to park a jetta there, but the idea of putting the s2k into the lot is rather scary.

I use the "unbreakable" autolock, the one that goes on the clutch.
Also got the special lugnuts from Honda so they can't steal my wheels without at least a little bit of planning.
The hardtop helps from the slashed top method.
... and of course my center console is always locked, and i keep my head unit faceplate in there.

and if all that fails... lojack

Wheel locks, seat locks and Ravelco. Don't know how true Ravelco's claims are, but my car now basically has 2 very hard to find kill switches. Still don't think I'd leave it at unattended airport parking.

I've known people who installed a quick release steering wheel hub (allows the steering wheel to detach) on their car. He literally took the steering wheel with him in his bag. The kill switches is also a very good idea. All these things combined will at least delay thieves.

I would not leave the S2000 in an airport parking lot, period. Have a friend or taxi/car service drive you there and pick you up.

wheel locks a joke since i take them off all the time at work on trade in cars that have wheel locks with no key.
steering wheel locks dont work.. since u can cut an opening in the steering wheel to remove the lock lol
lojack. depends on which one you have. the basic lojack that only works if you find out car is stolen .. u call it in and lojack does there thing and start to look for your ride. those 5 antennas you see on top of most cop cars now are used to track lojack when its reported. so they have to be near by to find your car (works if the thief is driving around in your ride) since your gonna be out of town, you wont know your car is gone or not
lojack with early warning is the only thing worth getting if u plan on getting lojack. this will signal lojack company if your car is being moved when one of those fancy keys lojack gives is not near the car

FYI :factory locks.. haha. not sure how many different locks honda have.. ill have to call my buddy that works at one.. but for toyota.. theres only like 24 maybe.. different style locks.. so far we have this ONE key that we use so much that we had to get one made for impact guns..

Why not leave it at the airport, its just a car will it be afraid of the airplane noise ? last time I flew out for work, I left my S at LAX for 4 days in the covered long term parking, since it was covered I even left the top down.
