Meh...I'd tell people it's a Civic if they'd believe me...less chance of getting robbed...

Personally, I'd almost bet that the guy at the race track was pulling your leg. Beyond that, I don't think I'd worry too much about the opinion of some yahoo who can't tell the difference between an S2000 and a Civic!

While there's a certain "family resemblence" to most Honda autos (2003 Accords notwithstanding), anyone who can't tell the difference between a Civic (2 or 4 door econobox) and an S2000 (2 seat convertible roadster, top up or down) seriously needs to get their eyes examined!

Drive Safe,

I got it!

Tell the idiot next time, "It's not a Civic, this is the new Honda Odyssey!"

If they are dumb enough to think it is a Civic, then they will probably be dumb enough not know you are screwing with them!

I never had anyone that thought my car was a Civic but did have one person that thought my car was a fix up Prelude. and all I said was "yep!" just to cut the conversation off.

I see.

I just tell people, "Times are tough and I couldn't afford a car with a roof." Nobody's ever seen me drive it with the top up. Nobody has ever asked me, "Is that the new Civic convertible?"
