Does anything like a high-temperature touch up paint exist?
I was scrubbing down the dirt on my valve cover today and I noticed some of the paint had begun to chip off. I don't want to go through the hassle of removing the valve cover and powdercoating it so I was wondering if they sold something like high-temperature paint that I can spot paint a small area on the valve cover with. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.

I think anything you use to touch it up would look off. You may have better luck buying a used one off of someone and getting it painted. I think they can be found for relatively cheap.

It's not gonna look good if you don't remove it and paint the whole thing. As someone else mentioned buy a 2nd valve cover and powder coat it and then can sell your one when you pull it. Valve covers are easy to sell if priced right.

VHT Wrinkle Plus Red paint (SP-204). It's not an exact match but at least it's red. Same texture too. But it's not touch up paint, to do it right you have to remove the valve cover and bake it.

Thank you for the responses guys .
I will take your advice on the wrinkle paint. It does not have to be PERFECT, just enough to get rid of the eyesore. .. Hopefully no one will notice unless I point it out to them. It just has to be something that will touch up the flaking and resist the higher temperatures.
