Default Does anyone not put their top down?

I bought my Berlina on May 15, 04. Since then, I've had my top down and it was lots of fun. The first evening after I brought it home, I drove at night on a backroad with the top folded and it was a wonderful sensation.

However, right now I think the interior of the S is so beautiful that I'm a little squeamish about getting caught in a cloud of dirt or something with the top down. So I'm perfectly happy driving mostly with the top up. Are there others who for reasons of their own mostly drive with the top up?

Maybe you should post '' Does anyone not put their top up?''

Not for me.Sometimes during winter I am very closed to catch pneumonia with the top down.

the damn sun, it's hot. That's about it... if it's hot with no sun, it's down baby! if its cold, or if it's really hot with a bastard sun I put it up.

So you buy this car but you're afraid to put the top down because the interior may get dirty? Are you serious? Geez, it's a wonder you drive it at all since the paint and tires gets dirty when you do.

I'd be worried too... but hell, it's meant to be driven w/ the top down. =)

Just clean it up when it gets dirty w/ some products.

edit: I see you weren't asking about whether you should. Good for you, if you want to drive with the top up, then have at it.

armor all wipes work very nicely if the inside gets dirty. they don't leave lint like rags do.

I had a plastic rear window in my Boxster and didn't feel comfortable taking the top down when it was cold for fear of cracking. I have the glass rear window in my S2000 and I have the top down nearly every day (unless it is raining).

It does get dusty, but that is what a duster is for!!

Coco.

Since I have the convertible I put it down. This isnt a fast car...just a fun to drive car so I enjoy it to the fullest.

However, if there was a coupe version of this car that weighed less than the convertible, I woulda gotten that.
