I am thinking about buying one, but I need to know if it works well in autocross situations- the knob is farther down and I dont want to be fumbling for it when I need to shift. Also, how long does it take to get one? I would just order a plain, pearl Al. knob. Can these knobs only be ordered from Rick's, or are they available driectly from team voodoo also? If you can get them from both, is there a difference in delivery time?

Can't comment on Rick versus Team Voodoo, but I LOVE my Team Voodoo knob. Fits my grasp perfectly. And I don't think you'll be 'fumbling' for it. It does sit lower, but is definitely not "hidden" or difficult to find, by any means.
It just provides a different feel.

I ordered mine directly from Voodoo before Rick was selling them. I think if he has them made, you can probably get it as fast as your shipping budget might allow...
IMHO, the Voodoo knob has many positives, no negatives.

I have a Voodoo Pearl with shift pattern (I painted the pattern red), and I love it. If you have a '02 the pearl finish matches the aluminum accents perfectly. Like Zeke said above, you will not be fumbling for it. If you are going to get it with no engraving you should be able to get it pretty quick from Rick. He has #1 custamer service BTW.

Rick sells the Team Voodoo knob, so there is no distinction. I believe that he has exclusive rights with Voodoo Bob to do so.
I love my Voodoo knob. Had one on the Miata and loved it there to.
I have no problems with fumbling or missed shifts. If anything, the Voodoo improves shift feel, IMO. Plus it looks fantastic.
Do a quick search, I'm sure you can find a whole lot more about the Voodoo knob.
