Does anyone have amber bulbs in their clear diffusers?

Default Does anyone have amber bulbs in their clear diffusers?

I'm looking into buying the Rick's pieces, but I'm not sure if I'll like how the car looks with amber bulbs inside(both the upper ones and bottom ones). Does anyone have pictures of how that looks like? and how they look when the lights are on?

Thanks a lot.

I did the poor man's SilverVision bulbs. Ordered amber bulbs then misted them with coat of hi-temp silver spray paint (the same stuff you'd use on a bbq grill); it's enough to get rid of most of the amber when looking at the headlights yet the bulbs still shine orange when turned on.

Here's a shot of mine someone took at a meet this weekend:

It sure looks like you did a ton with your MY03 S.
I guess you couldn't wait to drive it stock for a little bit.
Your car looks nice and clean.

Thanks for the replies, and I did do a search, but most people only use amber bulbs for the upper part. But what I want to see is what the car looks like when the amber lower bulbs inside the diffusers light up.

RyanITV:
You are fast!! My MY03 is still all stock except a layer of Meguiar's #20!!

I actually swapped the wheels when I took delivery on a Friday, drove it for 43 miles from the dealer to my house. I then installed the deck, the diffusers and the sidemarkers and proceeded to baby it until I took it back to the dealer Monday AM for the performance mods. We bought the S2000 after it won out when debating on buying one and tinkering with it or keeping the '02 M3 in stock flavor. Now that I've got 500+ miles of > 6000 RPM playtime with the SC under my belt, I don't regret it at all.

Here's a few I just took - sorry for the bad lighting; I had to take them with no flash under the flourescents to try to keep things from washing out. Compare the colors below with the pics of the car above with no lights on.
