Illegal in CA, but have them off on all three vehicles and have for 19 years. Received a ticket back in 1985, but it was only a fix- it back then.

My plate is off. If I ever get pulled over, I'll just show him the plate in the trunk, and tell him I was involved in an accident, and the front bracket has not been ordered yet. The car looks cheap with the front plate on anyway.

I notice alot of no front plate vehicles have some type of insert in the factory screw holes for front plate. I don't have a front plate on mine... but cannot find a way to body color fill the factory screw holes. please help.

Used front plate holder and cut off middle plastic piece so I can have it flush against grill. Turned it upside down and used tiestraps to secure frontplate holder onto grill. I have tinted plate cover so it doesn't look too plain. Looks bright since flash reflected off it. No longer a fix it ticket here in Cali.

I've had for about two years now. Never had a plate since day 1.

You can go check your dealer and see if they have any spare ones lying around, or if they'll save one for you next time an s2000 comes along. You can also buy them from the parts department.

Front plates suck!!! I got a warning in my Integra. the cop said it was a moving violation in jersey so I put it back on. Got pulled over in my bemmer once for no plate, but talked my way out of a tic. I just got my s2000 and Im contemplating what to do. It might get me to much attention.Im taking that ugly thing of tomorrow. I just wont let them catch me.
