Default Does anyone else leave their front plates off

Does anyone else leave their front plates off even if it is illegal? I do and haven't been called on it yet. Has anybody else been warned or ticketed? if so how much was the ticket for? I was going to use the excuse that I have the front bracket on order if I get pulled over. Think it will work?

Yep...have been given warnings and given a ticket for it.
After the ticket...I had the plate on for a couple months...then I couldn't stand it, and off it came again!

I'd say about 50% of S owners leave their plates off. No idea how I came up with that. Just a guess. Anyways, the S looks so much cleaner without the plate. Not only do I not have front plates, I also don't have any back plates. My S is about 6 months old now and no problems with cops so far. If you get a ticket in Cali, its usually a fix it ticket. You just have to put the plate on and get the ticket signed off by the highway patrol and pay $10. Its a freakin pain in the ass.

Front bracket thing may or may not work. Most likely not. If you are worried about it, just leave it on.

i, like Unicron, was given warnings and got hit witha ticket. I also had the plate on for a few days, rather than months and took it off. I figured...well, I guess I can stick it in the front windshield. So that's what I did. I figured, look ugly in the window, or look ugly on the car ruining the lines, so I stuck it in the window. I don't even know if this is acceptable, but I guess better than nothing.

It goes like this......would you pay up to 95 dollars to make your car look better on the road...(I would!)... In California it is a fix-it ticket and in some counties it is a different violation (I forget what it is called)

Anyway...the no plate ticket has cost between $0 to $95.00 depending on where you get the ticket in Southern Cali...

Look up how much it cost if you are in violation of your State/County/City....If the price is not worth it..Keep in On other wise take that Shit Off and look clean!

If you can afford the S im sure you can afford stupid fix-it tickets

Got about a dozen on front plate tickets with my Civic, but the cops don't seem to bother me in the S.
