I don't worry about it because atleast for next year there will be not be a glass rear window. But if and when there is one I hope it could be retrofitted to earlier models.

It is certainly not on the top of my list of things to change in this car. I would rather have better quality interior (like the carpet) than a dinky glass window I can't see out of anyway.

I'm buying a 2002 S2K. If it comes with a rear glass window, great. If not, that's fine too. I mainly want a 2002 because I'm hoping most of the little "bugs" from the earlier models will be worked out. On top of that, I can save a little flow in the meantime.

I only care if it can be fitted on to the 2000-2001 models. If it can then great. I will shell out the cash to get it done. Hay it costs what almost a grand to get the plastic one replaced!
If it cant.......well then in a few years I might have to either replace the rear window or get a brand spanking new one!
ERRRR: Maybe I will try RED this time...........Maybe not.

I'll probably be buying a 2002 and I would prefer the glass... even if it's smaller. There's nothing cheaper looking than a hazed over plastic window. The ability to put the top up and down as much as I want without having to put in some "protector" a pretty significant feature to me.
