Wow, I thought this was a joke. I wouldn't do that if I had an Enzo.

I change wheels a few times a month for auto-x so I just wash the wheels at the same time.

Otherwise - no way would I take 'em off just to wash the insides of the wheels.

It takes me 25 minutes to swap out my street rims to my track stock rims so that would be the extra time it would take to have extra access to the wheel wells and inside tires with the car on stands. Add in the hour and half it takes to clean and zaino the inside rims and 303 tire dressing, it's an additiional 2 hours total.

I probable go this route every 2 months.

If you can't see it, why clean it? ACtually I thought about cleaning my wheels, but they don't get too dirty on the inside since it's a garage queen (autox/weekend car) and is washed/waxed regularly.

Wash the car ? What's that ? I hose it off whenever the mood strikes me. But mine is 3 years old and the rat shlt leather that Honda finds on the side of the road has a big hole on the drivers bolster .So it's my beater car now.

My theory is that will steal the clean shiny ones before mine.

Oh I forgot ,I'm not washing the rims either . The brake dust is powder coating them black for me for free .

i always jack the car up, put it on jack stands around 12" off the ground.

get on my lil roller cart w/ some sunglasses on and wash under the car, with a "bathroom style" scrubber brush. after cleaing the under side. i move over to the wheels.. leaving the car in N and ebrake off.. i wash and turn and wash and turn cleaning the insides and the wheel wells..

then after all thats done WASH the entire car.. detail the engine, detail the interior, detail windows..

then after EVERYTHING is clean and dry

i condition leather, condition underhood rubber, condition under car rubber pieces, and polish the exhaust

then lower off the stands.. and viola... a brand new car and only around 4-5 hours of work
Wow! That is a lot of work! I thought I kept my car clean with regular washing but a lot of folks actually go above and beyond. I am impressed. Anything for S2K I suppose.

Only when it gets really dirty. But, I did just finish power washing my wheel wells, sprayed my brake calipers black and sprayed that 3m rubberized compound stuff in there. Looks brand new. Took me 9 hours to complete
