It's funny you ask. I wash my car twice a week in nice weather, and have thought about doing that, but I'm too lazy. Yes, I wash it twice a week and I'm still too lazy.

never taken my wheels off to wash the car, but I do wash the car once a week so they usually arent that dirty. During every wash I always go over the wheels and shine them up.

No, but I do have a really long-bristled boars hair brush, along with some thin plastic scrubbers on sticks, and I can clean almost the whole thing, inside and out. Check www.griotsgarage.com for examples of these products.

Thanks,
Richard

i always jack the car up, put it on jack stands around 12" off the ground.

get on my lil roller cart w/ some sunglasses on and wash under the car, with a "bathroom style" scrubber brush. after cleaing the under side. i move over to the wheels.. leaving the car in N and ebrake off.. i wash and turn and wash and turn cleaning the insides and the wheel wells..

then after all thats done WASH the entire car.. detail the engine, detail the interior, detail windows..

then after EVERYTHING is clean and dry

i condition leather, condition underhood rubber, condition under car rubber pieces, and polish the exhaust

then lower off the stands.. and viola... a brand new car and only around 4-5 hours of work

I use my lift at work to raise the car (in neutral - P brake off). I then have good access to clean the insides of the wheels. It looks much better when the insides are clean too. I usually do this once a month. I think taking the wheels off every time you wash it would put a lot of wear on the studs and lugs.
