Do you need to rotate tires front to back and vice versa on the S2k?
Just curious. I thought the rear tires were slightly larger than the front ones. Does this mean that the rear tires wear out faster than the front ones? How would that affect the ride if you were to replace the rear ones and keep the front tires the same? I thought that if you were to replace tires, it would be best to replace all four. Any suggestions? Thanks

The back wheels and tires are larger than the front, the back tires and wheels are ONLY for the back of the car and the smaller front wheels and tires are ONLY for the front of the car.
Do you own and S2000 or are you trolling? Hard to believe someone would purchase this vehicle with so little knowledge of it's purpose and configuration. Given your username you may only be interested in BLING BLING.....so if thats the case you've got the wrong car buddy.

you can't rotate the tires bro ... its not only the width but
our car has a staggered setup so it can't be done.... Or I should say
It shouldn't be done. Just by new rear tires when there worn
the fronts will last you through a couple of rear sets .

no, i'm just curious. If you read my post I didn't think it would be possible. Like I said, if the rear tires wear out before the front ones do then I have to replace only the rear tires. By doing so, wouldn't that give you a 'slippery' feeling when driving?

Many people have replaced the rears a few times before the fronts. It's just since the car is RWD, they wear out faster then the fronts...unless you drive conservatievly all the time. Dont rotate them front to back. Just buy new tires.

I have replaced my rears and still have the original fronts. I did swap the fronts with a remount. If you have this done, watch them do it and make sure the directional arrow is pointing the right way, sometimes shops get in a hurry and the obvious stuff gets missed. Also make sure they get the right pressure in the tires, 32PSI on all 4 corners.

The rear tires go towards the rear of the car. This is why we call them 'rear' tires. The front tires go towards the front of the car. This is why we call them 'front' tires. If it didn't matter which tires go on the front or the rear, we'd just call them 'tires'

Besides, better that he ask first then make the mistake of doing it, I mean that is what this forum is for right? To ask questions about the car that we dont previously know (or just want to make sure on)?
