Default Do you let people sit in your car

I was at a meet the other night and some kid asked if he could sit in my car. My first thought was to say no, but then i didnt want to be rude and say no. So i let him. Do you guys let people sit in your car if asked?

No one has ever asked me, but I think I would. If it would bring so much joy to them to sit in a Honda, then who am I to deny them?

Yeah.. it depends on the situation though.
If I dont even want them to ask I'll look at them.

What is the big deal about them "sitting" in the car? Just hold the key to yourself.

I have no problem with this if the person in question is willing to ask, politely! It's also assuming that I'm not in the middle of something and have the time. If I were at a meet of some kind, like what you suggest, it wouldn't be an issue at all.

FWIW!

I do, I've had people at Gas stations come up to me to ask what kind of car it is and they've asked to sit in it. I haven't turned anyone down yet..

i have never denied anyone sitting in my car...
I often offer it up since I love to share it. No need to look like a pompous douche. However if someone was not being pleasent or givin me a bad vibe I would probably say no. It's always a case by case basis I guess.
