Well if I do get the hardtop, it would be because of Chicago weather. But then I would have to get snow tires too, seems like the bills just keep coming

For now i'm content leaving my car in the garage i recently rented

...more bills, i tell ya'

But the rest of the year it's pretty much a slalom course

Now that I have a garage, I could even rig up the top to the rafters to install/uninstall.

decisions, decisions...

No need for a hardtop when living in the great So Cal sun.

I've had removable hard tops on sportscars before, they are basically a pain in ass. On/off becomes a chore. Storage a chore. If you plan to leave it on, fine. But otherwise, what's the point.

No. Would take up too much room in the garage and would end up like the boot cover, collecting dust.

We just wear coats, turn on the heat, and weeeeeee. We'll just have to dodge those snow flakes when they come (i think this may be the snow year, only once/3-4 yrs)

I would definitely have one if the car had to stay outside all the time instead of a garage though. Esp if it got snow on it. Couldnt take the top down so why not be hard.

I would have to say no top and not being out another $3000+. I live in LA anyway, no need for it here.

I too live in the L.A. area but would like one since this car is my daily driver. It is also nice to have the option of a GT every now and then. I had hardtops in my TR3 and TR6 and they were great for rainy days. However, $3k is a little steep!
