Don't have mine on even though it is required in CA. What makes me mad about the whole thing with front plates is that some vehicles (Corvette for example) don't even have a place to mount one and are thus not required to have one, apparently. Have you ever seen a 'Vette with one on? Last time I checked, Ferrari didn't have a place either.

I left my front plate on... It is a good way to protect your front bumper when parking in tight spots and it is an excellent bugs repellent!

My other sports car never had a bracket for a front plate. I've gone 8 years (in Virginia) without a problem.

Went for a year without one but the Sheriff pulled me over for no front plate. Cost to get the ticket signed off, cost about $10 for the court to clear the ticket and my time. Now I drive with the ugly plate on the front. By the way I drive by the same Sheriff every morning as he's sitting watching for cars without plates.

From what I've heard since they have added photo radar to more cities they are really pushing the front plate requirement.

I just have the dealer advertsment on as I have not yet received my plates in the mail... The only good that can come out of a front plate is it helps keeps the bumper from getting scratched.

I would rather pay the ticket in Connrcticut than cover up that amazing S2000 smile.

Oh yeah, here's a quick good one...

I was in a strip center parking lot one night after a late movie. A teenager at the time, driving my parents raised-top camper/van filled w/friends.

Rushing, I pulled out and cut off another car in the lot. Turns out it was a cop.

He ticketed me for "exhaust emitting fumes".

The DMV inspector laughed along w/me!
