Do you feel the need to speed? Has it become a drug?

I finally hit the magic 600 miles the other day. Before I knew it I was doing 90, and had my first VTEC experience. It is very addictive. This car is so stable and fun to drive at speed, but the last thing I need is to spend money on a ticket, that I could use for goodies on this little beauty!

Not only is speed addictive, but the S2000 is an extremely willing collaborator. I have owned lots of fairly fast cars and when I lived in Germany I drove 100+ every day to and from work, but the S2000 is undoubtedly the hardest car to drive slowly I have ever owned. It wants to GO.

I am usually pretty good about keeping it under control (75-85) on the interstates, when I am alone. But as soon as I get together with my brethern, look out. I call that the Paulie effect.
I do admit that I really like exit ramps, but only on warm dry days, and there aren't many speed traps on them.

I think the guys on the www.nsxfiles.com website refer to it as "the crack pipe of speed." Very appropriate.
