I agree with others. The best solution to boredom is more than one car, if you can afford it. I've owned my S2000 longer than any other car I've had in my entire driving life of 25 years. I'm now at 7 1/2 years of S ownership. I'd only give up this car for a late NA2 NSX....and we all know what's happened to the used NSX market lately, so I'm going to be keeping my S for a looooong time.

I drive three cars in rotation, each of them distinct and fun in its own way. The wife has hers, so our total fleet is four cars. I never have a chance to get tired of the S2000 as a result, and if I do, I drive one of the other cars.

I've also had an S2000 for over 10 years, and still have one. My daily is a 135i with DCT transmission. They're both fun in different ways...the 135i has actual torque, everywhere. The S2000 is more fun, but I drive it about 1x per week.

I have never been bored with my AP2 when I bought my truck as my DD/beater for the rainy/cold/winter/crap days and only drove the S on nice days.

This man speaks the truth! My daily driver is a 4x4 1986 pickup truck. After driving that everyday, the s2k feels like a race car.

My DD is a 2000 Odyssey on it's second dying transmission (wrong generation), yet I've had it since 2001 and it's still a decent transport with 188K miles on the engine. I'll never get tired of the S, I hope. I dread the drive from Phoenix to Los Angeles on I-10 every time, no matter what vehicle. I've done it so many times that it doesn't matter what vehicle I'm in. The S is always fun for me and has been for the 5.5 years I've owned it. Got it with 45K miles, now just turned over 90K miles doing home from Homecoming 3.

I don't know if we get bored of the S2k, but some of us only have a certain threshold for monotony, especially if the S is our daily. But drive something else and suddenly you appreciate it!

My DD is a 2003 Accord V6 that I bought in 2006. Got it with 45k miles and have added quite a few bolt-ons to improve the performance and personality. It now has 170k miles, and I'm still not too bored with it. I've had my 2006 S for just a little over a year now, and I doubt I'll ever get bored with it. The S, obviously enough, is the only thing that has ever made my Accord feel even a bit boring, and I realize it's not truly a fast car. When I sit in the S and fire it up, strap on the seat belt and drop the top, I feel like what it must have been like to strap into a WWI bi-plane. In town or on a straight boring highway, I'm in a speedboat in a no-wake zone, biding my time until I get into open waters. Once I hit the canyon roads, It's a fighter jet, ready to bank and pull 10g's with my head slammed against the seat and my spine desperately trying to keep my body from imploding. Do I want more power? OF COURSE! Who doesn't? Thankfully, I have my child-like whimsy to hold me until I can afford a good turbo setup. I love driving, anything, really. The S is the best thing I've ever driven, except 5min I got in a NSX in a parking garage. And the one ride I got in a T-37 Tweet pulling 6G's is the only time I've ever had more fun operating heavy machinery. Bored with an S2000? Hell no!

Guys, I can tell you from experience that ANY car that you drive frequently is going to get boring, and you can never have enough horse power.
Take for example my below full out pro touring 69' Camaro that I will be selling in the spring (and buying an S2000 possibly). This car has 800 hp and 800+ foot pounds of torque, it's absolutely insane to drive, it gets more attention than a Lambo and still I'm looking to get into something new next year ... Like a hot girlfriend, it's only a matter of time before your looking elsewhere LOL
