Yes--always on the street.

No on the track

The level it intervenes in is very high----If it kicks in when you're on the street, you've either done something stupid

or you're driving like an idiot.....

100% agree. I suppose this will start another stupid AP1 vs AP2 debate.

I usually leave it on. It definitely helps when you're driving in less than ideal weather, like wet/snowy roads or really cold temps. I hit a patch of road salt one time during a turn and it kept me from spinning out!

On a side note why do 00-05 owners hate VSA so much?

nope, no VSA...and as much as it might have saved other people, I prefer my vehicles without electronic help when it involves vehicle control and throttle inputs...hell, im not even a fan of ABS to be honest

More of a Cable vs DBW debate.

Because your foot is a better option than VSA.

I honestly think that depends on the situation and driver skill. Having VSA definitely isn't a bad thing, considering you can turn it on and off at will.
And why are non-dbw owners even chiming in on this thread? If you have an AP1 or 04-05 AP2, of course it's off lol

There is nothing wrong with or using vsa, just don't expect to ever learn the limitations of the car and become a better driver for it. Typically driving enthusiast frown upon electronic assistance becuase it adds a separation between them and the car. The S is considered to be one of the last real drivers cars produced in an increasingly electronic interfaced automotive industry. 06 and up got mixed up in it.
