Do you commute?

Put the miles on the S get the break in period over with! You can even get a good head start on breaking in the whole engine.
Its just commuting so it wont be that bad on your tires.
I drive like 10-15 miles each way but on the weekends I put on anywhere from 150-250 miles on my car!

I drive about 40 miles a day one way. The thing that I have decided to do is drive the S on good weather days and drive my POS pickup on bad weather days. In Arkansas that splits the mileage about in half. It also puts the pickup in harm's way on those days when people forget how to drive - you know when the road gets wet.
You might want to give this a try. Drive the Civic when the weather isn't so good and save the S2K for those great top-down days

about 10 miles each way... not many twisties, but do have choices of:
-along the beach
-an uncrowded open freeway area
-behind the airport open road
-next to the airport open road
the beach route is the only one where speed is a concern... the others do not usually have any traffic at all-

85 miles a day round-trip.
Since I picked it up on 8/22/2000, I have logged nearly 6300 miles so far.
Now, the city of Houston knows what a Red S2000 looks like!
I go through all kinds of driving conditions, and I have not once regretted buying this car. The driveability of this car beyond comprehension.
If you don't have enough torque, than you are not in the right gear.
