Question do s2000 drivers get road rage?

Well I rarely get into it with anyone or suffer road rage. I kind of did it the other day. This was only the 2nd instance of me giving the middle finger to someone for a long time.

I did it because I just had gotten off a bad day of work and this stupid traffic shit went on no one was letting people in etc. So people on the road got pissed at each other. Well one car started giving me the finger and yelling and just kept egging it on and on with his antics and I fell for it. I was laughing when I did it because the clown looked so stupid but still so pissed but I calmed down on the rest of the drive.

I'm usually pretty chill on the road. Like today lady in her van was the first in line at a red light and I was behind her. Light turns green....I wait, 3 seconds pass, 5 seconds....7 seconds!! lol so I honk the horn and she realizes its green and goes. Not sure if she was pissed or not. Just shows I have a pretty good temperment and I don't get pissed easily.

So have you guys suffered road rage in the s2k recieving end or the receiver be honest!!

Its pretty dangerous these days you never know what kind of psycho is driving. So control your emotions guys!

I'll admit it, I get pretty fired up sometimes. Its not a good day unless I use my horn and finger at least once I actually think its really funny seeing people basically start flipping out and like you, egg it on.

A girl that works for me honked at someone the other day. It was an elderly man who had pulled out in front of her. She changed lanes and sped up to pass him and he proceeded to brandish a handgun at her and her friends in the car. He then followed them for several miles while pointing it at them. They called the police, and the police responded " Are you SURE it was a REAL gun???" She informed them that it didn't have a "little red thingy" on it, but they apparently never caught the guy. The moral is, be careful out there, apparently there are a few psychos.

I wonder if those bumper stickers work? "I have a gun in my car so dont mess with me" or something.

Mostly pretty calm but I get fired up at people who stop before merging onto a highway when there is no stop sign at the end of the ramp nor a yeild sign. Also when people try to merge with 80 mph traffic going 35. If you can't time traffic and merge without hassle you shouldn't be on the road.

It seems to me when I am driving my SUV, I don't notice as many rude drivers but when I am on the road with S2K, rude drivers come out of nowhere. I don't know if it is my S2K bringing out the worst in me or if other drivers are going out of their way to "show that little sports car." I rarely get upset but when people show total disregard for other drivers, I do feel blood pressure rising. I guess we have to restrain ourselves if we want to live long and prosper.

I'll use the horn on people that are doing something really stupid - like trying to turn left one lane at a time, thus blocking one of the two oncoming lanes for the entire light. That particular one seems to happen at least once a week on my commuting route. I've noticed that it bothers me less once I use the horn, maybe because I have hopes that they'll learn not to do it again.

The thing that does bother me is SUVs - in this area it's almost always SUVs, not cars - blocking the left lane going slower than the speed of traffic. Usually they are on the cell phone. These guys make me wish I had gotten the optional disintegrator package for my S2000.

No kidding. What I'd like to do is get some kind of cell phone jammer with a 30 ft radius!!! I'd only use it on the freeway... It would be cool to just transmit, "Hang up dumbass!" in a loop...

hmmm... I used to have a cb with a 100 watt linear amplifier that could shut off peoples radios and tv's when I was in high school. I wonder if it could do the same for cell phones.

When I'm the 4Runner - every once in a while someone will figure that I'm the one they are gonna cut in front of. Fine, I'll let them in - whatever. Just that if they are being a pr!ck about it, they forget, I'm behind them. My psycho thing is to follow them lane for lane a carlength or two back until one of us has to get off.

What I don't like is people who follow too close. Or, the people who are in front of me that follow to close to the car in front of them that have to brake 10 times a second. Dude, figure it out, maybe if you don't follow so close, you wouldn't have to frikkin' brake so much. ARGH.

Cell phones. I won't even go there.
