07 is not going to be the last model year for the S.
That would mean that in about 5 month a new model would be coming out. The CR is being released this fall so don't buy that dealership bull about it being the last model year.

ap1 4 life. especially 02's, the best year fo sure.

with the money you save on trade in (which is a wholesale trade-in) and tax and more interest, you could have something substantial to sell later on as 2000. Also, you will still have the pride of knowing that your car revs 9000rpm, which not many car could claim.

I rev to 9000rpm on my evo though...

you will lose several thousand dollars including loss from trade in vs loan amount and the money you just spend on sales tax and to register your car. I wouldn't do it. 9k 4 lyfe

Although, IMO, the ap2 looks nicer, you shouldnt put yourself into more debt when its not really that worth it.

The answer to this one is simple; Keep your car!

Seriously, save some money and make it look like an AP2, but still have the 9k from the AP1 and call it a day. That's sort of what I'm doing.

if the ap2 cameout with 3 liter that made 400whp that reved up to 10,000 rpm, sure. anything short, keep you car and improve upon it. buy it some toys, take it out for find dining with race gas, introduce it to aem ems, etc.

besides, the money you save, you could get probably some racing slicks and money to take it out to road track without worrying about tires. that's heaven.

UPDATE!!!!!!!!!!!

It just dawned on me that I actually owe $11,000.
I took out the other cash to pay off and boost my GSR.
I still have a 17+loan on my ass but I ACTUALLY OWE 11k on the S2000.

You guys made some good points. I think maybe Ill just take it for a testdrive, but actually keep the car...
