Discontinued Prices?
I know the S2000 is not being made after 2006 now since the car will not be made any more how long you think before the value of this car will go up?

As far as the value going up, it will be several several several years until it becomes a "collector" car. But even then, it's doubtful that prices will ever go up. Look at the NSX, still holding their value, but prices have never gone up.

Well, I have a 2007 S2000 - so that shoots your theory. As far as the ending production date, it hasn't been announced. It's the same rumor every year...until you see it in writing from Honda, it prolly ain't true!

I wouldn't buy a car just to hope that the price would go up. Even if they do in the future, the price increases would probably not be enough to compensate for the rate of increase in inflation and the cost of "carry" of owning the car (i.e. insurance, maintenance, and storage).
Cars nowadays are becoming much more of an appliance and commodity. I personally feel that it'll very difficult to see the sort of high price that one could see in classic cars today on the S2000 in years down the road ...
