Default Disabling Passenger Airbag -

Hello and sorry for the repeat thread =

I used the search function and found several tips to doing this. I want to do this to my 2000 S2k and did see several threads showing ways to do and not to do it.

Most of the treads I saw were fairly old so that I did not get a grasp on if Honda will do this or the best way to do so... My daughter 3 yrs old wants to go for a ride in the car with me...

Thanks again,

Steve

I looked through the DOT information regarding crashes involving young children in the front seat with an airbag and the problems seem to revolve around children not restrained or 10 inches or less away from the airbag deployment.

I had it done by Sensible Solutions http://www.airbagonoff.com They have installers travelling doing the installs. The guy came to my office to do mine. It took him about 20 mins to do it. He said that the hardest part is the getting the panel off. costed me $400 and now my 3 year old can ride with me.
