Default Dinn Sized TV

has anyone tried to replace their stock radion with a stock size deck , that a tv comes out ..?? just wondering if it is even possible, beause the top is pretty low, so I dont know if the car will even allow for you to put the tv where the stock radio is>

If it's the same size as the stock deck ... There shouldn't be a problem, it's deep enough nevertheless.

I thought the screen wouldn't clear the dash...

The screen that pops up won't clear the dash. And if you scoot the unit forward so it does clear the dash, it won't clear the shifter.

So the only thing you can do is cut a nice rectangular hole in the dash and custom mount it above the vents.

Or you could just order the JDM dash and insert a custom-fit screen where the nav system usually goes.

Yup, the framing around the LCD is curved out a bit more towards the right side and makes it impossible to fit on the USDM LHD versions. But then again you can always make your own fiberglass frame for LHD cars..

There was a thread with someplace in Europe that had LHD S2000's with the Nav option. Someone was suppossed to be checking on the part # of the dash and see if it could be imported. I guess it never happened???


OK looked it up... it was Switzerland. So the Swiss have LHD and NAV.
