other than the price, I was kind of hoping to have a gauge cluster set elsewhere, since I want to be able to see the radio and the gauges at the same time. Hmmm, I'm wondering is it possible to have the same gauage cluster, only insted of being all mounted on the door, mounted on some other interior piece (don't know where though). How about pillar mounted ones? Well, I guess that would be just like the regular pillar mounted gauges, and I've only seen those in arrays of 2. Too bad the S's cockpit is so cramped.

A truly slick mod that IMO enhances the cockpit quite nicely.
Can't say the dash would look "plain" any more!

How easy would it be for someone to "take" the door if you left the top down? Are tools required to take the door off? Can something simple be done to make it a PITA to get the door off? The price of this item makes it a obvious target and I wonder if it might not be best to leave the top up when I leave her alone.

Sorry. Probably uncomfortable to bring an issue like this up right now but the real world all to often spins contrary to perceptions of safety - especially when you're not looking.
I think the gauge cluster looks great and I would like to keep it if I can find some way to afford it.

Unfortunately, no.

As for theft, it could be ripped out, but it would probably be ruined in the process unless the thief knew the car.

Thanks for the thread, I've purchased a polished valve cover, yellow leather wheel, console, floor mats, and a few other items from Rick's...all great quality product.

The gauge problem is that I have Defi gauges and not sure where to put them.
