Did you buy your S new?
So with the other polls, why not one more....
Did you get yours new?
I bought mine new as a demo car and got $7500 down from MSRP before the economy tanked and those deals became more common. I financed it over 5 years at 5.25% fixed. That makes interest on the car cheaper than my wife's medical school student loans, so we'll probably pay the car off rather close to the full term.
I went new because I expect to own the car around 10 years, although it probably won't be my DD for quite that long. I was willing to pay the few grand extra so I know the car has never had a mis-shift or anything funny with the history. Any damage is my damage, and I know where it is and how hard it is to correct. If I wanted it for a 3 year term, I would have got it used and saved the difference.

Used as a 4 year old car in 2006 and paid $19K for it with 12K on the clock.
The car was in better shape at 4 years old than most 1 year old cars at the time and I saved about $9,000 over buying new. Never regretted buying mine used.

i bought mine 4 years old new. I had purchased a car new once before and after a few years of ownership i decided to sell, taking a big hit on depreciation, ever since then i made up my mind i'd never buy new again.
