Did the S2000 get bad reviews down in Australia?

what are the regular 0-62mph times? I find even sub-8 seconds difficult to be consistent.
dumping the clutch at 6000+rpm gets sometimes too much wheelspin depending on clutch bite action.
and I dynoed the car to acceptable results according to some guys on this forum.
Testing other car makes and models as well, the manufacturers claimed times are always hard to attain. Like the Subaru Impreza Turbo. Just a bit of clutch wear made it impossible to get the 5+ seconds claim. Best we got was a flat 6sec with clutch slipping at 5000rpm launch.
Any comments? Apart from the possibility that my methods are shite
