maybe a bike? hahaha or another ap1 since he said other "car"

But i heard the AP2 motors can rev that high but man.. The durability and long term engine life always sticks in my head as well. Otherwise i would love to. I WANNA GO 9GRAND!!! with a 2.2

This is a dangerous thread with a huge potential to lead to ap1 vs ap2.
Who cares, I mean ap1s are gonna be wiped out from the earth before us ap2s. When we move onto ap3s which revs up to 7k, they'll be talking about the greatness of 8k redline.

8,400 or 9k? When I drive I don't keep at the redline and it travels so fast the last couple hundred I wouldn't notice. There is absolutely no point in keeping it at redline, since it makes less power there than at the HP peak.

Does the AP1 ECU table have enough cells for the 2.2 at 9,000? Or it it going to run lean?!!!!!!!

HAHAHA who cares about the redline its all about mid-range. I had an ap1 ecu in my ap2 2.2 and revved to 9k for awhile it didn't make a difference n/a FI maybe.
