Dent Repair Question.
ok, so i dented the underneath area of my car. it is the area under the passenger door. i noticed 2 things about this dent. first, it is connected to the rear quarterpanel. second, it is made of some really tough metal vs. the metal on the doors, it must be reinforced in that area. also, the paint in this area i noticed is very rough for some reason, it is not smooth, it is like mini spackle.
i am not fussy, i don't even care if it doesn't get repainted, i just want the lessen the look of the dent and it doesn't need to be perfect. only problem as i looked, is that there is no access for me to get behind the dent to hammer it out. so it looks like a body shop job at this point.
i remember reading a thread where someone had the same problem, so i hope he will chime in. any of you ever damage this area? how much was the repair?

I took a curb hit in the same place. A paintless dent repair guy looked at it and said there was nothing he could do. His only suggestion was a body shop, bondo, and repaint. That was two years ago and I haven't gotten around to doing anything yet.
