I might also ad that this particular s2000 has been sitting on thier lot for almost 6 months. I know this becasue this car was used as the display car at the Portland International Auto Show (1/28/07) So it has some miles on it. It's 100% stock, yellow, nothing special (well aside from being an s2000!) I think they just don't want to sell cars.

IMO, when you make "deals" in the auto world, you need to be ready to buy, or take delivery, on the spot. I would never make a deal with a dealership and then say, "okay, see you in a few days!" and expect it to hold up.

Yea, there's no hand shaking in the car business. Either it's on paper or it never happened.

Try going in and striking a new deal without mentioning the old deal, if not shop around.

Well, I am currently fishing every dealer in the area. If they ALL say not then an s2000 wasn't meant to be.

Do NOT tell the other dealers what happened or you can guarantee that no one will lease to you at that price.

Honda has raised the base lease then, when I got mine (June '05) the lease deal was $299 with a total of $3000 down. My payment is $316.97 and I only put @$2k down...go to another dealer.
I do NOT need to hear this...just was quoted $750/month (CAD) with $6500 down. 5 year LEASE.

OUCH. It is Imola Orange though Cannn't justify that though.

You should have gotten a written deal~
Or an option contract.

Listen man, you need to start over.

Dont seem desperate and dont tell them you NEED a car.

Fake it till you make it.

Go in there and get what you want,

Impossible is nothing.
