side note: i think it's funny how 99% of the people hating on the dc header have never installed it on their own s2k...

Expect to pay close to $100 per horsepower if you stay NA.
If that were true then a $1400 Mugen header should give me 14hp more and a $1200 mugen CAI should add another 12hp. ....and a $1600 cat-back had better give me 16hp too.

A 42hp gain for $4200+ by your math;here's the irony boys we had an individual who had all those mods on his AP2 and it dynoed 205hp @ the wheels

JDM is not the end all to be all

$100/hp NA may (or may not) be a good rule of thumb; however it doesn't mean you will get that result regardless of what you spend your $$ on. It may be that "toofast4yalll" was suggesting $100/hp NA is about the best one can hope for.

Update: there are a few people who have accepted the offer (I am third in line) so we may get an answer to this sometime soon.

I had a dc sports header on my 97' Prelude SH and made some decent mid and top range power with it. For the price it was a good buy, granted our engine is better tuned from factory so gains will be comparatively less, but still hoping to see something good.
