DC 4-2-1 Headers???
I have an 00' New Formula Red S2000. The only mod so far is an AEM Cold Air Intake. I wish i had the money to do more, but i am only 19 and i am still in school. I was interested in getting the DC 4-2-1 Headers for the S, but I am not sure if I put those on a stock exhaust if I gain hp or lose hp due to the backpressure? Can some one please help me out on this one? Everyone around here just runs their mouths, so I am turning to the pros...thanks.

The DC Sport headers have no HP gains, the only gain you will have is in the weight of the headers. The stock exhaust is very good IMO. Save some money and get the TODA or wait until SPUGEN comes out with theirs.

i have the DC header. it doesn't have huge gain but the VTEC transittion is smoother. also start from a stop seems to be a little easier ...
i think this is a dyno from another board member, this shows some gain in 3300-3400rpm and just before and after VTEC.
and it's around 10lb lighter i believe
and yes, the stock door speaker is 6.5".

i was thinking of the same mod, dc header, but looking at the gains from other members, i decided against it... actually looking at the stock header, i was surprised to see how large the piping was... im probably gonna go with a Toda now...
