Think of it this way -

One year closer to being a classic.

 

Actually that is why it is/was better to get the MY00. It's the first year model, the original, the one all the rest will be based on. Think of it as a sports card. You always want the first year rookie card, who cares about the second year card, 3rd year, etc.......
