Default Damnit!!!

Had 1-2 gear grind today....to make it worse it happened twice in a row!! I was only doing normal shift, shifting before VTEC. This is very frustrating because now I'm just scared it will happen again. What the hell am i gonna do? This happens too often. Some of them are probably my fault but still this happens even when I'm being careful. frustrations frustrations frustrations

i've got a 2001, 14K miles and it has happened to me about 12 times, of course the dealer say my car #4062 doesn't need the recall. I'm not too sure what to do, bc it does it sporatically sometimes easy and sometimes shifting hard. I think after the summer I will take it in and insist they do the recall anyway. drop me a Pm if you get any results from your dealer

foreversilver, I also tried the dealer but they told me that the TSB did not apply to my car. I'm gonna talk to them again soon...

TSB55 is making me nervous every single 1-2 shift. It's taken the joy of driving this car.

I've been going around with the dealer about this since I bought the car. Also into third it bangs into something......feels very wrong. Only response I can get is "It feels fine...can's even feel the synchros" and I admit that somethimes it does shift properly, but so frequently it doesn't, that I don't dare shift it normally....move the shifter into gear very slowly, blip the gas, tried everything........so now I just double-clutch for second and third and it shifts nicely. A bother, but I do love the car, and it's just something that takes the worry out of the shift as otherwise I feel I'm doing some major damage. You only have to release the clutch pedal for an instant.....quick up and down after pulling it out of the previous gear...and then shift. Makes all the difference in the world, but yes, it's a pain, and yes, something is not right. It's a Honda. A four wheeled bike. The only up side I can see to this is I won't have the popping out of gear problem some have. And possibly as time goes on, it will loosen to the point that I won't even have this problem.
